Shree Om 500 D is a ribbed TMT bar that has superior tensile strength and ductility. The D variety is made with special billets and has an enhanced specified minimum percentage elongation of 18% as compared to 12% in normal 500 TMT bars.
It also contains lower quantities of carbon, sulphur, and phosphorus, which preserves the steel for a long time and makes it earthquake and fatigue resistant.
